  • Governor Wolf Signs Executive Order Authorizing Commonwealth Agencies to Conduct Remote Administrative Proceedings: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to help reduce unnecessary in-person contact that can spread the virus, Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order authorizing state agencies to conduct administrative proceedings remotely. Several state agencies conduct administrative proceedings including meetings and disciplinary hearings of the 29 occupational licensing boards and commissions under the Department of State.     • There are 470 past or present hospitalizations (+6). In the newest cases (tested July 1 through July 12), ages range from 5 to 93 with the median age being 40. All deaths to date are of individuals ranging in age from 23-103, with 84 being the median age of those who have died.

  • According to CNN, as of 2:00pm on Monday, July 13, 2020, there are 135,379 coronavirus-related deaths and 3,332,685 total positive cases in the United States.
  • U.S. records more than 66,000 new coronavirus cases in record spike: The United States recorded its highest one-day spike in new coronavirus cases since the pandemic began as hospitals in some hotspots approach capacity. The U.S. single-day record of more than 66,000 new coronavirus cases on Friday broke the previous record, set Thursday, by about 3,000 cases, according to a Johns Hopkins University tracker.
