Workforce

The Pittsburgh region has the skilled workforce you need to grow your business.

Our ample talent pool is fueled by more than 31,000 students graduating each year from the region’s 35 universities and colleges. Among these are several top-ranked research & development institutions, including Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Plus, each year our workforce benefits from nearly 7,000 students from 16 business schools and 20,000 graduates from more than 70 post secondary, technical and trade schools, many of which support the region’s strong manufacturing base.
